 Classroom observation

1. What   you   know?

          - Before we go out to observe teaching at Lamphuraruanwit school, we prepare ourselves for observation. We know approaches teaching and techniques. We have to understand about learning and teaching activities in the classroom. We have to learn about system doing activities of each group in school. In addition, we know the responsibility and role of Lamphuraruanwit school.

What   you want to know?

            -  There are five topics that we want to know for observation. First, lesson structure of teacher has the way the lesson opens, develops, and closes. Teacher has activities that constitute the lesson. Second, teacher  has  classroom  management   strategies such  as sitting  up group , maintaining  order , time  management and seating  arrangement. Third, teacher has types of teaching activities. There are whole- class activities, pair and group activities. Fourth, teacher has teaching strategies in classroom such as presenting tasks, organizing practice and teaching technique. Finally, teacher use materials such as textbook or other resources.

    What you have learnt?

          -  We learned about the strategies of teaching and the preparation of teacher in the real classroom at the Lamphuraruangwit School. Moreover, we learned about controlled student in class by using many questions. We learned many news activities from teacher when teacher use it in each class and we can applies activities for teaching.

Learning Log

     Today, there are five person presentation in front of class about teaching. Someone is mistake about the less plan. They don't know how to write enabling objective and terminal objective.
     My teacher tell us that is enabling objective come from indicator what teacher would like students to know and terminal objective is what students can do after ther study finished in each class.
     To conclude, terminal objective and enabling objective are different. Before each teaching we should choose one topic for teach and there are plan for teaching everytime.

Reading Skill

      Today I practice reading skill it’s about an endless supply of listening/reading material.  And it is listening/reading Speeding up the learning process.

      When he was learning to read Thai back in the late 1960's he was impatient To speed things up, he had some of his students use his old tape recorder to record short easy Thai texts. He still remembers the beginning of the first one. He used to listen to each story again and again – sometimes 10 times – and before long he could read, and he also could understand much better what people were saying to him. That is a big reason why he has included sound files with the stories they use on the bangkokpost learning website. It is simply a great way to improve their understanding of a second language.

      I think, every skill can improve everyone if everyone always practices. Therefore, we should practice four skill every day for develop four skill of oneself.
